Lithuania encourages the use of less polluting means of transport, such as electric scooters or bicycles. If you take advantage of the opportunity, you will be able to receive compensation:

- up to 500 euros - to purchase an electric bicycle or a corresponding electric vehicle, such as an electric tricycle with a speed of no more than 25 km/h, power up to 1 kW;

- up to 1 thousand euros - to purchase an L-class electric moped or electric motorcycle.

Compensation is calculated based on the actual costs incurred, not exceeding the established maximum amounts.

How to receive compensation?

Residents who have disposed of their polluting car and purchased an electric moped or electric motorcycle, electric bicycle or electric scooter can submit applications to the Environmental Project Management Agency (APVA) for compensation.

Applications can only be submitted electronically through the APVA information system APVIS. Compensation will be awarded according to the established procedure. You can log in and submit an application for compensation here.
